Ohio Valley coach Jazmone Turner started the following lineup: 6-0 Fr. Ariel Johnson, 5-9 Fr. Hanna Mitchell, 6-1 Fr. Charday Pitts, 5-6 Fr. Jalyn Gilbert, and 5-8 Fr. Imani Hill.  Eastern Kentucky University coach Chrissy Roberts countered with 6-0 Sr. Jasmine Henshaw, 5-10 Sr. Shameekia Murray, 5-1 Jr. Jalen O’Bannon, 5-5 Jr. Mariah Massengill, and 5-10 Jr. Michaela Hunter.

Eastern Kentucky dominated action today with an 81-40 victory over Ohio Valley.  EKU shot 45.9% from the field including four of 16 from the three point line.  The Colonels connected on nine of 11 free throws, pulled down 43 rebounds, and scored 31 points off 28 Ohio Valley turnovers.  Ohio Valley shot 25.5% from the field including six of 17 from beyond the arc.  The Fighting Scots connected on six of 10 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored five points off nine EKU turnovers.

Jalen O’Bannon led Eastern Kentucky with 19 points, nine rebounds, four assists, and four steals.  Jasmine Henshaw added 16 points.  5-11 Fr. Abby Wright chipped in with 14 points including two three point baskets.  Michaela Hunter recorded 12 points, seven rebounds, four assists, and three steals.

Jalyn Gilbert led Ohio Valley with 10 points.  Hanna Mitchell added nine points on three three point baskets.  Imani Hill chipped in with eight points, seven rebounds, and three steals.  Charday Pitts recorded six points and eight rebounds.
