Hopkinsville coach Tim Haworth started the following lineup: 6-3 So. CJ Henangan, 6-1 Sr. LeDonald Gray, 6-5 Sr. Jaqualis Matlock, 5-11 Fr. Jalen Johnson, and 6-0 Sr. Jordan Gary.  Owensboro coach Rod Drake countered with 6-9 Sr. Aric Holman, 6-1 Sr. Dylan Sanford, 6-7 Sr. Justin Miller, 5-9 Sr. Darion Morrow, and 5-10 So. Jacoby Harris.

Owensboro defeated Hopkinsville by a score of 71-50.  Owensboro shot 59% from the field including three of eight from the three point line.  Owensboro attempted 34 less shots (73-39) from the field than Hopkinsville.  The Red Devils connected on 22 of 28 free throws, pulled down 42 rebounds, and committed 19 turnovers.  Hopkinsville shot 28.8% from the field including two of 20 from beyond the arc.  The Tigers connected on six of 13 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and committed six turnovers.

Aric Holman led Owensboro with 23 points, 10 rebounds, and four blocked shots.  Darion Morrow added 15 points and eight rebounds.  Justin Miller recorded 14 points, 15 rebounds, and two blocked shots.  Jacoby Harris chipped in with 11 points and six rebounds.

Jaqualis Matlock led Hopkinsville with 15 points, 12 rebounds, and three steals.  Jordan Gary added 10 points and three steals.  LeDonald Gray recorded nine points, three rebounds, three assists, and three steals.
