Male coach Champ Ligon started the following lineup: 5-11 So. Logan Calvert, 5-11 Jr. Kyra Hogan, 6-1 Jr. I’Liyah Green, 5-2 Fr. Emilia Sexton, and 5-7 Sr. Taylor Jackson. Eastern coach Josh Leslie countered with 5-8 Jr. Markeia Porter, 5-7 Jr. Shavia Thompson, 5-10 So. Natalie Collins, 5-3 So. Daijia Stafford, and 5-7 Fr. Alexis Smith.
Male defeated a cold shooting (25.9% from the field and 44% from the free throw line) Eastern squad by a score of 62-45. Male shot 46.7% from the field including four of 13 from the free throw line. The Lady Bulldogs connected on 16 of 21 free throws, pulled down 48 rebounds, and scored five points off nine Eastern turnovers. Eastern shot 25,9% from the field including four of 23 from beyond the arc. The Lady Eagles connected on 11 of 25 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 21 Male turnovers.
I’Liyah Green led Male with 20 points, 10 Rebounds, and three blocked shots. Taylor Jackson added 12 points, six rebounds, and three assists. Emilia Jackson recorded 12 points including two three point baskets, four rebounds, and three assists. Logan Calvert chipped in with eight points and seven rebounds.
Shavia Thompson led Eastern with 16 points and seven steals. Natalie Collins added 10 points and four rebounds. Markeia Porter recorded six points, 10 rebounds, and four assists.

Eastern (45) – Porter 6, Thompson 16, Collins 10, Stafford 6, Smith 4, Holman 1, Beach 2.
