Glasgow vs. Allen County-Scottsville (Girls)

15th District Tournament Championship

Glasgow coach Justin Stinson started the following lineup: 5-11 Jr. Breanna Glover, 5-10 8th Grade Amanda Lee, 5-11 So. Skyler Burd, 5-4 So. Ellie Bartley, and 5-7 Fr. Kaylyn Hale.  Allen County-Scottsville coach Brad Bonds countered with 5-11 Sr. Morgan Rich, 5-10 8th Grade Sarah Sutton, 6-1 Sr. Holly Robinson, 5-6 Jr. Jordan Brooks, and 5-8 Jr. Savannah Gregory.

Allen County-Scottsville defeated Glasgow by a score of 61-57 in overtime.  There were six lead changes and four ties in this game.  Allen County-Scottsville shot 40% from the field including three of eight from the three point line.  The Lady Patriots connected on 10 of 16 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 16 Glasgow turnovers.  Glasgow shot 51.2% from the field including seven of 17 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Scotties connected on eight of 15 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored nine points off nine Allen County-Scottsville.

Morgan Rich led Allen County-Scottsville with 22 points and five rebounds.  Savannah Gregory added 17 points, 12 rebounds, four assists, and four steals.  Holly Robinson recorded 11 points and seven rebounds.

Ellie Bartley led Glasgow with 14 points and three assists.  Kaylyn Hale added 13 points including three three point baskets.  Breanna Glover recorded 12 points, 12 rebounds, six blocked shots, and two steals.  5-8 Jr. Allie Chapman chipped in with nine points on three three point baskets.
