Madison Central  vs.  Sheldon Clark

Madison Central coach Allen Feldhaus started the following lineup: 6-5 Jr. Quan Taylor, 6-1 Sr. John O’Bryan, 6-6 Sr. Hunter Allen, 6-1 Jr. Ken-Jah Bosley, and 6-1 Jr. Dominique Hawkins.  Sheldon Clark coach Kevin Spurlock countered with 6-3 Sr. Taylor Chapman, 6-3 Jr. Chase Kirk, 6-7 So. Justin Johnson, 5-8 Fr. Chase Parsley, and 6-1 Sr. B.J. Moore.

Madison Central defeated Sheldon Clark by a score of 76-53.  Madison Central shot 52.5% from the field including six of 17 from the three point line.  The Indians connected on eight of 13 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored 25 points off 20 Sheldon Clark turnovers.  Sheldon Clark shot 34.8% from the field including five of 16 from beyond the arc.  The Cardinals connected on 16 of 23 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 13 Madison Central turnovers.

Dominique Hawkins led Madison Central with 33 points, six rebounds, and three steals.  Hawkins was 13 of 19 from the field including two of three from the three point line, and five of seven from the free throw line.  Quan Taylor added 16 points and nine rebounds.  Taylor was seven of 10 from the field and two of four from the free throw line.  Hunter Allen pulled down 10 rebounds.  6-1 Jr. Daniel Parke recorded six points on two three point baskets.

B.J. Moore led Sheldon Clark with 19 points including nine of 10 free throws.  Justin Johnson added 13 points and eight rebounds.  6-3 7th grader Dylan James chipped in with seven points.
