Beechwood 69  Covington Holy Cross 26

Friday September 9th

 

Highlands 56  Western 0 – Patrick Towles threw TD passes of 68, 83, and 38 yards to lead the Bluebirds to victory.

Scott County 35  Madison Central 6 – Josh Walls scored on runs of 2, 17, 2, and 13 yards to lead the Cardinals.

Bryan Station 40  George Rogers Clark 19 – LJ Warfield ran for 152 yards and two touchdowns and added three receptions for 115 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Defenders.  Pokey Harris carried the ball 24 times for 198 yards including scores of 35 and 97 yards to lead GRC.

Lexington Catholic 34  Male 26 – Lexington Catholic scored 17 unanswered points in the final quarter for their come-from-behind victory.

Tates Creek 21  Henry Clay 14 – Dennis Oxendine ran for 184 yards and a touchdown and threw a 40 yard TD pass to Martell Berry to lead the Commodores.

Lafayette 35  Owensboro 23 – William Johnson carried the ball 27 times for 255 yards and three touchdowns and caught two passes for 106 yards and a touchdown to lead Lafayette.

Franklin County 36  Frankfort 7 – Ryan Timmons caught four passes for 100 yards and two touchdowns to lead Franklin County.

East Jessamine 34  Paul L. Dunbar 20 – Cameron Thomas carried the ball 25 times for 261 yards and three touchdowns and caught a 52 yard TD reception to lead East Jessamine.

Trinity 56  Elder OH 7 – The Shamrocks displayed all their arsenal tonight in their victory.  Garrett Sauer carried the ball eight times for 163 yards and two touchdowns.  Dalyn Dawkins carried the ball 17 times for 124 yards and two touchdowns.  Travis Wright completed 14 of 18 passes for 177 yards and three touchdowns.  James Quick caught seven passes for 143 yards including TD receptions of 30 and 31 yards and scored on a fumble recovery in the end zone.

Breathitt County 44  Jackson County 7 – Richard Trent threw TD passes of 65, 74, 1, and 68 yards to lead the Bobcats to victory.

Lexington Christian Academy 6  Cincinnati Hills OH 3 – Justin King scored on a 56 yard blocked punt return with 10 seconds left in the game to give LCA the victory.

North Oldham 62  Elizabethtown 28 – Zach Evans carried the ball eight times for 193 yards including scoring runs of 35, 5, 74, and 37 yards to lead North Oldham to victory.

Butler 42  Central Hardin 21 – Brock scored on runs of 1, 1, 15, 21, and 22 yards to lead Butler.

Jeffersontown 41  Shelby County 7 – Demichael Jackson ran for 247 yards and five touchdowns and scored on a 93 yard kickoff return to lead J-town to victory.

Rowan County 49  Fleming County 14 – Stephen Williamson ran for 189 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Vikings to a win.

Central 28  Ballard 13 – Anthony Wales carried the ball 28 times for 230 yards and a TD to lead Central.

Johnson Central 64  St. Thomas Moore Canada 24 – JJ Jude ran for 358 yards and seven touchdowns to lead the victors.
