Lafayette coach Greg Coldiron started the following lineup: 6-5 So. Nick Trisko, 5-10 Jr. William Johnson, 6-7 Fr. Jackson Davis, 5-10 Sr. David Ross, and 5-9 Fr. Charles “Snoop” Johnson.  George Rogers Clark coach Scott Humprhey countered with 6-9 Sr. Vinny Zollo, 6-6 Sr. Jaylen Daniel, 6-4 Sr. Corey Rogers, 6-4 Sr. Robbie Stenzel, and 6-0 Jr. Bopper Stenzel.

GRC outscored Lafayette 22-8 in the third quarter on their way to an 80-61 victory.  GRC shot 57.1% from the field including four of 10 from the three point line.  The Cardinals connected on 12 of 16 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored nine points off 16 Lafayette turnovers.  Lafayette shot 37.3% from the field including four of 11 from beyond the arc.  The Generals connected on seven of 12 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 13 GRC turnovers.

Robbie Stenzel led GRC with 19 points including three three point baskets.  Vinny Zollo added 14 points, 11 rebounds, and six assists.  Corey Rogers chipped in with 14 points and six rebounds.  Jaylen Daniel also scored 14 points.  6-7 Sr. Travis Purvis also reached double figures with 11 points.

Jackson Davis led Lafayette with 27 points and 13 rebounds.  William Johnson added 10 points and six rebounds.
