Scott County coach Steve Helton started the following lineup: 5-10 Kristen Stainback, 5-11 Fr. Tereka Guyn, 5-10 Sr. Alex McKenzie, 5-7 Sr. Shaunte Jackson, and 5-6 Fr. Audriana Christopher.  Mercy Academy coach Mark Evans countered with 5-8 Sr. Emily Goetz, 5-8 Sr. Catherine Dircksen, 5-7 Sr. Paige Eberle, 5-8 Sr. Juliann Miller, and 5-5 Sr. Lauren Faris.

Mercy Academy pulled away in the second half to defeat Scott County by a score of 79-53.  Mercy shot 38.6% from the field including four of 10 from the three point line.  The Jaguars connected on 21 of 34 free throws, pulled down 42 rebounds, and scored 27 points off 39 Scott County turnovers.  Scott County shot 24.6% from the field including three of 15 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Cardinals connected on 22 of 31 free throws, pulled down 53 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 21 Mercy turnovers.

Juliann Miller led Mercy Academy with 23 points.  Miller was 10 of 15 from the field and three of three from the free throw line.  5-7 So. Whitney Harlage added 13 points.  Lauren Faris and 5-11 Jr. Courtney Roush each recorded 11 points.

Alex McKenzie led Scott County with  13 points, 11 rebounds, and four steals.  Kristen Stainback added seven points.  5-10 Fr. Iman Guy chipped in with six points and eight rebounds.
