Lexington Christian Academy coach Tommy Huston started the following lineup: 6-1 Jr. Patrick Nickodem, 6-2 Jr. Taylor Barnette, 6-4 Sr. Chris Staton, 5-10 Sr. Carter Helton, and 5-8 So. Tyler Harville.  Mercer County coach Brian Britt countered with 6-3 Sr. Aaron Lee, 6-3 Sr. Clay Cinnamon, 6-4 Sr. Mathew Banks, 5-10 Sr. Austin Sagraves, and 5-10 Sr. Trey Compton.

Mercer County defeated LCA by a score of 67-62.  LCA raced out to a 23-8 lead in the first quarter and still led by a score of 43-39 entering the final period.  Mercer county outscored LCA 28-18 in the final quarter. This was a game of contrasts tonight as Mercer county held a 30-10 advantage on points in the paint and LCA held a 36-9 advantage in three point points.

Mercer County shot 45.3% from the field including three of 13 from the three point line.  The Titans connected on 16 of 22 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 24 points off 16 LCA turnovers.  LCA shot 43.4% from the field including 12 of 32 from beyond the arc.  The Eagles connected on four of 11 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored six points off nine Mercer County turnovers.

Aaron Lee led Mercer county with 20 points, and 12 rebounds.  Clay Cinnamon also scored 20 points.  Austin Sagraves chipped in with 10 points and five assists.

Tyler Harville led LCA with 21 points on seven three point baskets.  Taylor Barnette added 15 points, five rebounds, and seven assists.  Patrick Nickodem chipped in with 11 points and seven rebounds.
