HTML is a standard code to create web documents. It uses TAGS, which
are commands that a web browser uses to interpret and create actual web pages. Before you begin, you will need a few things. First, you need
a Word Processor and a Web Browser. You will create your web documents with the word processor and view them with a web browser. Until you decide to place your site on the World Wide Web, you do not need to be connected to the internet to create or edit your web page. You should know that when you are creating your HTML documents with your word processor, all documents must be saved as TEXT DOCUMENTS and have the file extension .html or .htm; otherwise it will not work. We'll show you some basic tags that you will need to know to create your own web pages.
