Part Two

In part one, we explained how to begin all web page documents. Now we will show you how to add text and the different ways you can make your text look on a web page. In part three, we will discuss the use of graphics and media.
Take a look at the tags below.

< CENTER>
< H1> This text will be the largest

< H6> This text will be the smallest

< B> This text will be bold
< I> This text will be italic
< U> This text will be underlined

To explain in detail, if I were to copy this text in to my word processor and open it up with my browser, all text would be centered, because everything I wrote was in between the < CENTER> and
tags. Text written between < H1> and
is heading number one which means that it would be the largest, and text between < H6> and
is heading number six which means that it is the smallest. Heading number three is normal size text on a web page. The < B> and tags make text bold. The < I> and tags make text italic. And the < U> and tags make text underlined. To see exactly what this would look like if opened up in a browser, click here. I think you are ready to learn how to add graphics and media to your page.
