Aims of DWD

Despite valiant attempts by the various enemies of Dorkshire to bring down the state, it remains under the control of the Evil One. I say evil ONE because we all know that the partnership is merely the front for something much bigger. And much more sinister. Dorkshire is now attracting would-be dictators in the desperate struggle for power. All those who seek to take charge of the state are to be considered extremely dangerous. After all, they could well be capable of so much more than Alex and Graham. Like actually managing to stay at an exam until the end....

We are now witnessing the evolution of Dorkshire. From the grand scheme it once was: amalgamation and integration of two counties to live and work for the dictators' benefit. Economic success with the lion's share of the coal market, progressing to world domination and gassing like badgers for all those considered unsuitable. (The Dorkshire Agreement still stands as testimony to those ideas). Graham and Alex have grown weak. Where are their policies? World domination is still a long way from reality.

They spend their time fighting (and losing) against internal strife. They are currently embroiled in a legal battle over the history of Dorkshire, where once they would have ignored such trifles, or simply arrange to have the culprit sentenced to death. They keep afloat with mob pleasers like the Dork death lottery, but what about the long term? The people need to see action. Alex is failing to deliver on his policies. Graham is facing claims of being out of touch, as he no longer lectures on the ideals and aims of Dorkshire. The country can barely sustain itself, caught up in red tape and self serving propaganda.
