Over Yonder was born as a direct result of Nadia reading the infamous Evil Overlord list. It got her talking to friends and family about hero/villian stereotypes in fantasy gaming/lit and she decided to play with it a little bit. It started out as a sheet of confusing dialogue and evolved after friend and sitekeeper Ailly said "But it could be so much more." The story moved on through use of polls to decide everything from the names of characters to major plot points (a majority vote made Isidor a boy-shagger, but naming Irina involved a tiebreaker). Nadia made Over Yonder her silliness outlet while working on pieces for her set on poetry and prose of modern monsters and discovered that she greatly enjoyed it.
