No matter what, I'd decided not to rush things today. I took my time getting out of bed and out to see my cousin. Went home, had lunch, got a phonecall from a friend who wanted to give us presents, and then I took a long relaxing bath with x-mas music playing in the background and a magazine in my hand. Lots of really nice gifts that I probably don't deserve. The only "problems" were the tights I'd bought and the fact that I didn't get to my dad's in time for Santa's Workshop...but I think I might survive that...

My mum seemed to be in a bad mood this morning when we're supposed to cook this morning but I worked around her, and even played some x-mas songs to get her in a better mood...and I think it worked. We cooked and I even tried to make some raspberries truffles. Never again. In the evening my friend C came over for her annual visit. We had some sandwiches and she gave me a present even though she wasn't supposed to... Then my "aunt" in California called and told us how warm it was over there...like I car...*mumbles*

Slightly chaotic, but that's the way I like it. A bit behind already, but i've decided not to be stressed out. No one will die (hopefully) because I haven't had time to vaccum the floors. Went and bought food, which took most of the morning. Luckily we found some people with a car and I forced them to drive us home. We'd never made it with all those grocery bags. Although I've been tired, I've enjoyed the day. Lots of candles, x-mas songs and friendly people. Had some coffee at a friend's house, exchanged some gifts and played with her daughter (in her room, very important!) for a while.  Then off to my sisters for food and drinks and exchanging of gifts. Then back home where I was supposed to entertain my friend...but I ended up putting her in front of the tv and then I fell asleep (Sorry hun!).

My dear friend decided to throw a little X-mas party after coming home from shopping. I don't know how much x-mas it entailed, except for the mistletoe and the beetroot salad, but my friends were nice (as always) and they'd even brought some new people...

I've been shopping with the boys. Even though we didn't have that many stores to visit it took a loong time. And I, my dumbass self, of course managed to blurt out to my mum what I was getting for her. And then I tried to cover it up. I don't think she bought it.

The probably biggest two Christmas divas in Sweden was on the morning show this morning (re-run this afternoon on their own tv-channel) and what can I say. She is probably the only one in this country to make a hip-hop show play a christian x-mas song (performed by her of course...) and Mr. Christmas himself. You just have to love the grumpy old man. Don't miss!
