Supernanny
Mood:  lazy
Topic: Everyday life
Just call me Supernanny. I've spent all day surrounded by my dear friends and their kids. I don't know what it is with kids and animals. They just seem to love me. You'd think that they'd feel that I couldn't care less...except for my friends' kids and pets of course. But you who know me know what I mean ;)
All in all, a fun but exhausting day...including the most adorable little chocolate pastery.

"Good" book
Mood:  happy
Topic: Books
I just finished "A million little pieces" by James Frey. I first heard about it on Oprah's book club, and then forgot about it because well...it's...Oprah. But then I found it on sale a couple of months ago. Bought it, and now I love it. I'm not sure if you're supposed to "love" such a sad story, but it was interesting and was hooked from early on even though I knew how it'd end...

...even if he is a big fat liar...

Memories
Mood:  not sure
Topic: Tv
They're showing some show on the disadvantages on living in Ireland on tv right now. I know I have selective memory, like we so many times have, but I still can't understand how they can complain about everything... The obligatory pictures of that stupid bridge and Temple Bar and all that flashing by. I think I had a good time there, didn't I? But on the other hand, I was still young and innocent back then. Hadn't really been to that many places. Well...I still haven't really but... Many of my, moved-away, friends seem to be in the "missing home"-phase now, but I just can't relate. I've lived everywhere, but never really been homesick. I might not have liked the people I was with or missing my friends, but never really homesick. I still don't know if I've found the place where I'd like to live forever, but I just know that it isn't here...

Now Playing: Hair OST
Topic: Everyday life
New season, new hair...new life? It's now a dark brown colour... and a lot shorter. I'm no longer a red-head! :) But I like it. It's just that I keep forgetting and when I walk past a mirror, I look at myself and almost scream...until I remember...

I had a dream
Mood:  special
Topic: Everyday life
I had this really weird dream last night. I was a contestant on "So you think..." even though I had no sense of rythm. At all. The dance consisted of us (me, Donyelle and whoever) running up and down some stairs. Finally I was eliminated, and my first thought was "Where do I go now?? I'm sure as hell not going back to my hometown. I'll just have to max out my credit card". What does this say about my desire to get out of here?!? ;)

Dancers
Mood:  spacey
Topic: Tv
I just can't understand how I always seem to be so caught up in a show like "So you think you can dance". I've probably had a crush on every guy there at one time or another...even though they're all probably gay ;) ...and teenagers...

What to buy..?
Mood:  lucky
Now Playing: Madonna - Material Girl
Topic: Everyday life
Took a walk down to the centre with the sun shining on my face and headed for the mall...or whatever it's called, "the Labyrinth" maybe? ;)
Looked at another pair of gold shoes, yes, I know...SHUT UP! :P A perfect pair of gold shoes this time, no straps around the heel, and a wedge heel. Only 380 Kr, but the only problem is that the damned summer is almost over now!! :(
Walked out of the shoe store and ended up in a lingerie shop instead. Big Sale-signs everywhere. "I'm just going to have a quick look", I told myself...but of course, I ended up buying lots of stuff I really don't have any need for... I'm in such a big debt now that it isn't even funny...or actually it is. Like living in fantasy land...hehe...
Looked at some bags, I do need a new bag. Yes I do. AAH, JUST SHUT UP! ;) But I'm having a really hard time deciding. I saw a beautiful brown bag at Wedins, mocka-ish, then there's the lovely red bag at Lindex, made from that creepy material, and then I finally found a cheap black (the bag colour of the season?) biker-ish bag at H&M. Which one should I get???
Went outside again. Looked at some young boys and textmessaged my stupid mean friends who decided to go to Denmark without me!!!! Like I care, I don't like them anyway :P It's not like I've spent the entire last month dreaming about going to Denmark. Dammit!!
Got on the bus. Then changed to a train, there I got that "I like being in a crowd" feeling again... Decided to get some sushi before the next bus, but of course, they've changed the stupid timetable for no apparent reason and I had to head straight for the bus. So here I am (and not in Denmark), with no gold shoes, no hand bag and no darn sushi.

Essay time
Now Playing: Alice Cooper - School's out
I know you've all been waiting. I'll tell you what happened, as much as I remember. I got there early, but didn't have to wait long before the other girl showed up. We went inside, talked for a while and then off to the terrifying room. When we got there the other woman, hereby referred to as "the Lady", and out lovely teacher were already there. We chitchatted for a while, and the Lady talked about something I really didn't pay any attention to, I just went with the old "smile and nod"-technique. First to get her head chopped off was my poor friend, who I really thought did a good job, but apparently they disagreed, and the Lady crossed the line with me when she told my friend that she mad eit simple for herself by choosing such a good secondary source. Hello?!? I thought that was the entire purpose of actually having a secondary source..! A middle aged, envious woman isn't a pretty site to see. That's when she really started to annoy me, and just blocked her out for the rest of the time. She doesn't see herself as a student, but rather as a collegue, since she's a teacher herself...
Then it was time for her essay, which didn't get that much critizism at all since I'd stopped caring about her at all already.
Finally, my essay. I'd talked about it with my friend before so I basically knew what she was going to say. And I also knew that she was right, after four lit. courses I'm starting to get the hang of what I suck at. The Lady actually said though, that she approves of my use of language and grammar...and added "but I guess everyone who lives there are..." I guess it's supposed to be some kind of joke, I was just too upset to even try to smile...

So. All I have to do now is to re-write most of my stupid essay and then I'm home free ;)
