I've spent most of the day with grandma and a gigant dough with saffron. But it was fun. It's something that you always associate with her, baking. And I didn't learn some new (old?) tricks, like warming the saffron on the stowe and using powdered milk instead of fresh. It's one of those things that you'll regret not doing when you're older. Like the way my (maternal) grandma taught me how to knit and crochet when I was young...er (she was a seamstress), and the things my grandpa taught me about the lake... Unfortunately I don't remember any of that any more...
