I missed the first episode when it first aired, but I just happened to catch the replay as I was surfing the channels later that night. I have to say that the first night was a little strange...I liked some parts, but other parts kinda scared me.

However, I made a point to watch it at 7 last night, and I must say that I thought last night was much better. That could either be that Glenn was a little nervous the first night and not so much last night...or I now kinda had a frame of reference of what to expect.

Either way, I think I'll be trying to watch as much as possible!

We are at day 9 in Tampa...man is it nice to be back down here!!!

I just got my cable and Internet hooked up yesterday, and then setup my home network this morning, so that is why I've been away for the last week or so. Movin' is a bitch!

But I'm back now and should be posting regularly...regular for me anyway...very soon.

I had my TKD testing for my brown belt tonight...I did alright except for my round kick board break. It took three times, but I got it. My first try I was a little low, the second try I pulled the kick, but the third one was right on the money.

I'll pick up my new belt before leaving town!!

I was sitting here watching the game last night with my heart pounding like mad at the end of the game! And it was only game 2!!

I really hope that this series goes to six games...I'll be in town for game 6...hopefully I'll be able to score some tickets! And then we will need to win!!

This town just seems to get worse and worse everyday...it's probably because the end is in sight and my patience is nearly gone.

Thursday night, poker night, my car got backed into...so now I have a big bent on the driver's side door. And the person that did it didn't have the sack to come inside and say anything.

Then, even though the UFC website said that the Hooters here was going to be showing the fights, when I drove up there...the place was dead. I asked if they were showing the fights and then I find out that they aren't.

If there was a sports bar with half a brain in this town, they'd show the fights and then advertise that they are the only place in town to see the fights!! They'd make a killing! But "brainless" is a good description of this town...I'm so glad we are leaving in 15 days!

Ouch...the last two Lightning game haven't been good. We had better turn it around soon!

The playoffs are fast approaching and we need to win at least two games...three would be best!!

I haven't been to Taekwondo much this testing cycle, I've only been like 4 times or so in the last 4 weeks, but I went last night.

Friday's are basically cardio night...there is a lot of sparring! So why I decided to go that night after missing so much...I'm not sure! But I am definitely hurting today!

We went out of town this weekend...down to check out our living arrangements in Tampa.

It was nice...except for the part about us getting up in the morning, and the gas not being turned on...and therefore no hot water. That wasn't much fun...but then again, something very similar happened when we moved into our first house. On our first morning there, we had cold showers...because the water heater's power hadn't been hooked up!!

80's Night

Last night we went to 80's night at a bar by school. We had a great time. I wore my mullet and had lots of people want to wear it...or take pictures with me...or tug at it to see if it was real.

Other people dressed up as the Top Gun guys, in flight suits and aviator glasses...there were chicks there in Flashdance attire...a couple of guys that showed up wearing tie-dyed leotards and shorts with fanny packs...I think I even saw a Members Only jacket!

I wish we had known about that place a long time ago...this town would have been more bearable.

I'm watching the Lightning game right now...they just fought off over 6 minutes worth of power plays. Excellent work!

I spent lots of time shredding papers Sunday and today. Actually today, I had to give the shredder a break because it overheated.

That's right...I'm training to be a big time CIO!!

Then I packed up a box or two to get ready to move...man I can't wait! 41 days to go.

I had a call today from an old guy on one of the real estate lines. I asked him the simple questions I'm supposed to...name, phone number, blah blah blah. Then I asked him how soon he wanted to move.

His repsonse? "ASCP"

Me - "ASCP?"

Him - "Yeah, as soon as possbile."

Me - "You mean ASAP?"

Him - "Huh?"

Me - "Nevermind!"

We went to Shenanigan's...on the far north side of town. They had a tent with Irish bands playing all night. Inside they had another band playing. There was a big Bar-B-Q pit outside cooking up burgers, hot dogs and sausage.

It was kinda funny...they ran out of Guinness drafts and Harps in bottles and draft. They ran dry around 11 PM. They said they were gonna bring in more...but damn!

We stayed out a little later than I wanted to, I have to go to work at 7 Saturday morning...
