"WE GATHER HERE BECAUSE OF MIRACLE!"

I almost couldn't sleep during 18 hours trip by train from Bandung to Surabaya, because every time I almost felt asleep, suddenly the train stopped and so many sellers got in to the train, and shouted loud,"water! Water!" or," Fried Chicken! Fried Chicken!" or "Batik clothes! Batik Clothes!" :D

At that time, I ENVY Boi, Cecilia and Yuni who could sleep so tight peacefully. May be Mirma could sleep, but I always teased her, I pulled her hair, or tickled her, or talked nonsense with her, just to keep her awake and accompany my insomnia and me.

We arrived in Gubeng at 8.00 am, Jojo, Danny and Pak Tino (Tina's father) picked us up. Pak Tino is very nice, and so do his family (Bu Tino and Tina, Thanks!). We stayed one night before we left for Kupang by ship.

In Tina's house, I collapsed (a.k.a felt asleep), and so did Mirma, after we got up a few hours later, I've seen Sr.Lydia (from Solo) and Br.Yotam Wakum (from Semarang), and Tina plus her church's friends. We chatted a bit.

One incident happened in the noon, Cecil's aunt picked her up, coz suddenly her mum was very worry about her leaving to Timor Leste. Anyway, about her joining, I must admit, it's kinda a hurry, coz she's just decided to go 2 days before leaving, may be she couldn't make her mum sure, but she insisted to go. She cried, disappointed. We all were sad, yes, after 18 hours we've been thru together in the train, at that moment we had to say goodbye. Cecil, if you read this, from now you can persuade your mum, and told her that joining the camp is such the most wonderful experience, that you won't forget for the rest of your life!

In the afternoon, we went to Tina's church, GKJ Ngagel to follow the English conversation club. In the club we learned new song, it's good to see you here with me plus the dance, and later, we brought that song to the camp and we taught the kids in Los Palos that song.

Then in the night before we went to bed, we had a general briefing with Miss Project Administrator (hehe, Yuni always hates and hits me if I call her that!); she described the camp's living generally and told us her last year's experiences. Anyway, Suddenly Jojo said one sentences, it was really meaningful for me.

"We gather here, not because of our abilities, our strength or our money. It's a miracle from God. If until now, there are still us: me (Jojo said), Yuni, Danny, Okke, Mirma, Tina, Yotam, Lydia, Boi, tomorrow may be we'll have other formation, someone could come or some of us here could leave…. But anyway, for the ones who arrived safely in each village in East Timor, means He has chose us, we are the chosen ones."

Chosen one… that phrase was really got in to my heart. At that time, I felt like, oh God.. You're so good, God please choose me! I promise I'll do my best!
