Correlations
(Analyses of YOR Field Variables)

These are the preliminary "elimination round" of simple correlations between individual candidate predictors and crop yield. We calculated correlations for dozens of candidate predictors, but here we are showing only those correlations for predictors of crop yield that survived this preliminary elimination round of analysis because they were statistically significant. These variables then advanced to subsequent elimination rounds using regression modeling.
