This is where i post what date i update the site, and what i did. (duh). Enjoy.
12/12/01:
Really quick, it's official. Final Fantasy X will be released on the 18th, in time for christmas. That is, if you can keep yourself from buying it before hand. I probably would if my mom would let me, but she's begging me for things that she can get me for christmas as it is. I would have more info for you, but IGN decided to put that article on the 'elite' list, which you have to pay about 20 bucks to look at.
12/10/01:
Today is a happy day for me. B-Brown from http://www.after-shock.f2s.com has re-designed my website for free, in order to build his portfolio. You'll see it before too long, but let me just say that I'm in love with it. Anyway, I just had to mention it. Though I do have one piece of news. One of my friends who works at a gaming store says that her boss said he'll get FFX in on 12-18-01. Whether or not that's true she wouldn't say for sure, but I'm hopeful.
12/2/01:
Well, what'da you know. I got a Final Fantasy X demo in the mail the other day, and all I have to say is, in the words of Greg Dean, "BOO-fricken-YA." Instead of just gloating over how I have one and you don't (possibly), I decided to put up a section detailing what I found in the demo. Right now it only covers part 1, and doesn't have any pics, but I'll rectify that shortly. Unfortunately, I don't know what's invovled in taking screen shots of your TV, so I have to hunt for the pics elsewhere. Oh well.
11/21/01:
Quick update. Square announced that FFX will be released before Christmas. Yay. But (there's always a but), they will only be able to ship 500,000 units by that time. Taking into consideration the fact that FFX sold 2mil units the first weekend in Japan, I'd suggest you tell your parents to be on the lookout for it. I would give the exact date of the release, but I can't seem to find it. If any of you know when the exact date of the release for North America is, please Email it to me. And please, only email me if you actually have some kind of proof as to the validity of the date.

Man, been a while. Anyway, thought I'd post a little update. Update on what? Well, not the site, that's for sure. Anyway, I started playing through FFIX again, making the walkthrough as I went, but I soon after got Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, so you can imagine how things went after that ^_^. Anyway, I'll try to get the parts of the walkthrough I do have up at some point, hopefully before december.
As for the future status of the site, it's somewhat cloudy (sp?). Due to... various factors, I'm not all that motivated in doing what's neccessary to update this site. Why? Well, it's complicated, and I highly doubt any of you would care to hear me rambling on about things that I'm sure you wouldn't understand (I mean, hey, I barely understand it, and I concieved these concepts). Anyway, with the release of FFX, I might be sparked into a temporary spurt of creative juices, though the possiblity of that spurt being enough to get an entire walkthrough up is somewhat slim. Whether or not the FFIX walkthrough will be up before then is pretty much dependant on the release date of FFX. Though I hate to start one walkthrough before a previous one is finished, the currect situations don't allow me much choice. If that happens, I'll just take down what small portion of the FFIX walkthrough I have.
Well, that's about it. Oh, not quite. In case any of you care, I added a new feature to the FFVII walkthrough. Now, when you click on the enemy skill links, a window comes up with a description of what that skill does. Well, except for the ????? skill, for a reason I cannot help but assume is that Javascript is the epitimy of Evil. But anyway, if any of you feel particuarly charitable (and happen to know javascript), feel free to look at the code and tell me what's wrong with it (go to www.angelfire.com/bc2/FinalFantasy/ffwcode.html for a cleaner view of the code). Don't mind the fact that the Matra Magic thing shows up on the screen when that page alone is viewed; it's fixed once I include it into the main FFVII walkthrough page.

Yea yea, I know, I didn't get any updating done. Why? I didn't see a benifit to doing so when I didn't feel like it. So anyway, school has started, and with my particular schedual (4 Honors and 1 AP class), I don't imagine I'll have much time to update this page. So, I'm kinda saying goodbye for the time being. Aside from the quote of the week being updated, I don't imagine I'll get much else done. Possibly a tidbit of news in the news section, but I highly doubt anything major will happen.

Yea, I know, it's been a while. Anyway, I've been playing FFIX on and off, between my Baldur's Gate 2 play sessions, so I'm not as far as I normally would've been. But the boss I'm currently at is really really hard, and I can't use this thing that would make the fight a lot easier, because then I'd kill one of my party members. Anyway, I'm not playing it as often as I usually do, which will either translate into me playing FFIX a lot more, or dividing my game time between a few games, FFIX included.
Either way, I've started my walkthrough, which, as you can see, isn't posted yet, because I'm waiting for me to get more info on it. I should have enough info posted to put it up the next time I update it. Hopefully.
Before I forget, I'm not going to be posting regular updates to the walkthrough on here. Instead of just putting 'updated my ffix walkthrough' on this main page, I'm just going to put that on the update page, while leaving the last post like this on here.

Didn't get as much of FF9 played through as I anticipated, but it's good enough I suppose. I'll be starting to do the actual typing of the walkthrough tommorow, as I don't think my self-imposed schedual will allow me time to do it today. Anyway, that's that. I'll also be looking around for new news to add to my FFNews section today, so if you feel like it, check that page; there might be something new there. Lastly, true to tradition, I've updated the quote of the week. So that's my week.

Yep, I definately think this is a trend. Anyway, I not only have enough info on my FFNews page to justify putting it up, but I also started my next Final Fantasy walkthrough, which is.... IX! I was looking for either VIII or IX, and I found IX first, so that's the one I'm doing. Very scientific process, I know. But hey, none of you emailed me to suggest which one I should do, so I had no choice. But then again, I didn't really expect any of you to actually email me anyway.
So anyway, I should get a decent ammount of the game done by Saturday. That estimation is allowing for a day or two of doing stuff with friends, during which I won't be able to get any of it done. Though lately none of my friends have been available, so I may just have enough free time. We'll see what happens.
7/24/01:
Okay, couple positive things to report today. First off, i've successfully started my FFNews page. I'm pretty sure I'll have enough information on it to justify adding it to the links by tommorow. Secondly, I finished Wild Arms 2. That ending would go about 3x faster if they'd let you control the text scrolling speed. And I was right, it was 45 minutes. Good gussing. It's quite annoying when they have the words "I'm sorry" on the screen for 10 seconds. But, anyway, that means I'll be starting my next FF walkthrough, which I have NO idea which game it will be for. Guess it'll be whichever game is in my room. I think one of them is in my bro's room. Oh well. If any of you actually took any time out of your day to email me suggestions, I'll check those before too long.
Also got one more idea for this webpage. I'm thinking about writing an analysis pertaining to why Final Fantasy is so popular. Not only so you can show your Nintendo-fan friends why exactly they suck, but for people just looking for a good rpg, and trying to find info on various rpg's, Final Fantasy being one of them. *shrugs* It's just an idea, and I honestly don't know if I'll ever actually start it. Or if I will ever have a reason to do so. Just an idea I had.

Two days in a row. I think I'm on a roll. Yay. Anyway, I'm true to my word in the area of the quote of the week, as it has been updated. If you havn't heard that song, you should d/l it. Though I don't really expect you to d/l unless you happen to be a bon jovi fan already, and havn't heard of keep the faith (and if you happen to be in that situation, let me tell you how wrong that is. considering keep the faith is not only one of their best songs, but the title of their absolute best album). Anyway, I'm currently gathering information for my FFNews page. We'll see how long it takes to get enough info on it to justify putting it up.
As far as the next FF walkthrough goes, I'm one play session away from the final boss on Wild Arms 2. I anticipate beating it tommorow, as it is the first monday in about 10 months I don't have to go to school, not counting vacations. I'm going to have more free time than i know what to do with, and I'll try to devote as much of it to this site as I can. Though between Baldurs Gate 2 and Disciples (which my bro got for 6 bucks recently), I'm making no promises as to how long that is.

Okay, I know I said I'd update more, but that didn't quite work out. Summer school ended friday, which I am very relieved about (got an A, too, which is good). I had more homework those last few days then I expected to have, which prevented me from doing too much of what I wanted to do. Plus, Baldur's Gate 2 has been occupying a lot of my time ;). Anyway, I got to the final dungeon in Wild Arms 2, about half way through it (hey, it's a long dungeon). I re-estimate that I'll be done with it in my next two play sessions. One to actually get to the final boss, and another to actually beat him. Then after the 45 minute ending which could have been condensed to about 15 minutes, I'll be starting either my ff8 or ff9 walkthrough. If you would like to suggest which one I do first, please feel free to Drop me a line. *Doesn't hold his breath*
Anyway, until I start the next FF walkthrough, I'm somewhat at a loss as to what to update. I was thinking of making a general FFNews page, but I'm not quite sure. Let me explain how it would work, if I decide to do that. As you may or may not know, Square is really pushing it's recent works. These include: PS2 remakes of several PS1 Final Fantasy's, Final Fantasy X, XI (a trailer for which was released recently. It looks awsome. Check it out Here. The links are just below the main topic), XII, as well as the re-release of Final Fantasy Tactics. With so many projects currently underway, a lot of news will be comming out on a fairly constant basis. I would imagine it would, at least. Anyway, with so much news comming out, and so many eager Final Fantasy fans such as yourselfs wanting that news, I'd make a page where all that news would be posted, listed in an index sorted by which game they apply to. We'll see how it goes.

I actually had an desire to update today. *gasps of shock and suprise* Anyway, I'm currently trying to figure out what I can update. If I don't think of anything, you can expect to see more updates in the comming weeks. Especially considering if I keep up my current reading schedual (Have to read 5 books for english 11 honors next year. On book 5 now. They weren't too bad though, unlike previous years), by next wednesday, I will have NO reason to wake up until school starts again. Yes, that's right; I could sleep for... what, 5 weeks? and it wouldn't make one bit of difference. That is, assuming I can get the proper nourishment in my sleep. I'm working on that ^_^.
Anyway, I'll probably be updating more often for a while. At the moment, the only significant change I can see being possible is the start of either my FFVIII or FFIX walkthrough. Though I have to finish beating the game I'm currently playing (Wild Arms 2), because the first time I beat it I didn't save the end-game data for some reason. It's been bugging me for a while, so I'm just going to beat it again. I'm almost done, so I should start one of the two in about... oh, 3 days? Somewhere around there. Anyway, we'll see what updates I make today.

I updated the quote of the week. Going to try to update it every sunday, though if I run out of ppl to quote, I'll have to put up one of my clever sayings. Anyway, I got the "JavaScript Bible - Gold Edition" in the main a couple days ago (1500 pages, 57 chapters, 6 appendix's. very nice ^_^). We'll see how soon I get to reading chunks of it and am able to integrate it into my webpage. I'll keep you posted.

Been a while. As you can see, i'm having trouble getting motivation to finish the walkthrough. Anyway, in case any of you care, my birthday was 6/26/01. Turned 17. And I should probably say happy 4th of July to all you Americans out there. Anyway, the reason I posted today. I let a friend borrow FF7, so I won't be able to finish the walkthrough until I get it back. I probably wouldn't have finished it by then anyway. If I feel the urge to update, It'll probably be either on my FFIX section, or FFX section. Though if square's tradition continues, there won't be too much new stuff to add to the FFX section. Though I did see a few really good looking FMV's and clips from the game (Jap version) that I should probably link to. Well, that's all for today. We'll see what tommorow brings.
