Aa- Informal "hai" used by almost all the Kenshin-gumi; basically means "yeah"
Ahou-Saito's version of Baka

Ano- Is used for "Um..." or "Er..."

Baka- Idiot, fool, moron
Battousai- Kenshin's "nickname." It means he has mastered to Battou-jitsu technique
Bokutou- Wooden sword

Daisho- The pair of swords samurai carried during battle, consisting of a short sword and a long sword

Mou- Verbal exclamation of exasperation or defeat

–Ne?- Right?/Am I right?; used at the end of sentences when the response is expected to be in agreement

ORO!- The typical Kenshin exclamation. There is no English equivalent, unless it is that hilarious moan of his. It is actually a version of "WHAT!?" said with either a lot of confusion or pain behind it. It has been theorized by some, however, that Kenshin says it when he knows what ever else he could say would just get him into more trouble, seeing as how he's the legendary hitokiri, he's probably never really confused
