  • HowTo make a cartoon from a photo.  Visit the Kodak online playground. They provide several sample pictures for you to check out their cartoonizer as a guest. If you sign up as a member, (its free) you can upload your own pictures to cartoonize or enhance using this terrific resource.

  • HowTo draw pencil portraits.  Discover How You Too Can Draw Lifelike Pencil Portraits by Paul Wilkinson at Celebrity Portraits. Excellent tutorial covering materials, gridding, blending, shading and drawing methods. This site was number one on Spa Search's Top 100 Drawing Sites and it's easy to see why. The author has numerous examples of celebrity portraits he's drawn on the site as well.

  • HowTo learn to play guitar in the Metallica style.  Guitallica how to play guitar in the Metallica style -primers and tutorials from beginner level up. Be advised that this is not a kids craft. For the faint-hearted, professional soap makers are listed by locations worldwide.   • HowTo make soap.  Elaine White, author of "Soap Recipes" ("the only soap making book for home crafters written in cooperation with professional chemists!" ) If you've never made soap before this is the place to start. Elaine provides lots of free online instruction and recipes for soap making. 
  • HowTo make soap in a blender.  Another HowTo by Elaine White. This one is not for beginners but for the experienced soap maker Elaine says this is the easiest and quickest way to make soap!

  • HowTo build a robot for almost nothing. by Fran Gordon at Ohmslaw.com  I knew nothing about electronics when I went to this page, but after going through the instructions and looking at the step by step photos, I found myself digging through my junk for the parts to make one myself. At the end of the tutorial you can download free software so you can control it from your computer. Excellent!
