For FrontPage 2000 users: In Normal view click
your page to place your cursor where you want the readings to go. Switch
to the HTML tab. Your cursor should be at the right spot in your code, so
just paste it in, then press return and type in
"<p>".without the quotation marks. Now you can make
adjustments using Normal view. How To
customize your free rune readings in FrontPage 2000. First
very simply you could separate the different types of Rune reading to
arrange them differently by simply highlighting each one and then
cutting and pasting each where you want it. For example: Love
rune
Health rune
Money rune
You may want to change the
font style as well.
Love
Rune Health
Rune Money
Rune
If you have a fancy or
unique font you've downloaded, you can cross your fingers and hope your
visitors have that font too or create gif images of the rune reading
titles in Image Composer or other graphics program. Just follow
the instructions for using images instead of text below. This example
uses St Charles font available from Pixel Mill.
Another customization using
images instead of text.
-
In Normal view follow the above instructions to
insert the readings anywhere on the page.
-
Insert the images you
want to use instead of text on the page nearby. Hit the space bar at
least once after each image.
-
Highlight the first
image.
-
Switch to HTML view. The
image's code and the code for the spaces
will be highlighted.
-
Click at the end of the end of the image code to
remove the highlight. (This code will begin with
<
and end with >
for example <img border="0"
src="../graphics/money1.gif"
width="55"
height="41">
)
-
Highlight just the
image's code, right click and select Copy.
-
Return to Normal
view. Highlight the text you want to replace with your picture.
-
Switch
to HTML. The words you highlighted will now be highlighted in the code.
Click to remove this highlighting
-
Highlight it again, right click
and paste to replace the words with the image code.
-
Switch back to Normal.
Place your cursor over the image. You should see a message saying "Use
Ctrl+Click to follow a hyperlink" near the cursor, and the
Status bar at the bottom of your window should read "javascript
void(0)".
-
Right click the linked
image Select Picture Properties. In the Picture
Properties window on the General tab, you will see a text
box near the middle of the screen for entering alternative text.
Enter the name for the rune reading (i.e. Love Rune).
-
Now you can cut and paste these formatted images to a better
position if necessary and FrontPage will handle changing the HTML for
you.
-
Once you have them arranged and working,
you can delete the
original images etc you inserted at the start.
This process is much
easier than it sounds. Just follow it step-by-step. If it doesn't seem
to work you probably missed something. Cut or delete your not working
image in Normal view and start over. If it still doesn't work then maybe
I missed something. (This one took a lot of trial and error.) You can always
e-mail us with questions or check one of our forums or chat rooms for
help.
How To
customize your free tarot readings in
FrontPage 2000.
In Normal view the tarot
reading form looks something like this.
You
could place it in a table cell or it's own table. The smallest cell size
it will fit into is about 235 wide by 30 in height. You can then give it
a colorful background to contrast or match your page.
