HowTo: Submit Your HowTo links
Submit the exact
URL of any HowTo you have on your own website. You may submit as many as you
have, as long as each has a unique URL. These will be reviewed as quickly as possible and we will let you know if,
where and how we plan to include them.
Bookmark style links are fine for
shorter How Tos, where you have more than one item on a page. For further info
see "How To Create a Bookmark Link", on the right side of this page.
Submit links with a short description
by e-mail with the subject line 'submitlink'. or use this link
HowToUniverse.
We plan to have a
special How To section of Accessible How Tos for people with text only,
and other special browsers.
If you know your pages are
'accessible', you can submit your How To links to this directory as well. Use the subject line 'submit accessible how to'.

Although it's always recommended that you
submit your site to search engines, let's face it... only a few will be at
the top of the list. Some search engines auction off or charge a fee for the top
spots.
Effective use of keywords and phrases in a page's meta tags is a good
strategy for the website owner, but is not an effective means of determining the
quality of the information from the user's viewpoint. We believe people will be
looking for better ways to find what they are looking for....such as... HowToUniverse.
