Rainforests are found on every continent in the world except for Antarctica. They are almost always found near the Tropic of Cancer and the Tropic of Capricorn. Therese are ideal places for rainforests because of their warm and wet climate. When they are not located in those areas, there's usually less animals in the area, because they need the warmer level. Some of the most famous rainforests are located in South American and in Africa. Probably the most famous rainforest is the Amazon Rainforest. Various small rainforests are also located on the Atlantic coasts. This helps with the growth and production of a lot of plants in the rainforests. |
