The rainforests contain the most amount of animals in the world. They have over 200,000 different species all together in rainforests. A lot of people think of rainforests as being the location of tropical life. That is true, but it's also home for many animals that you may not think of being in a rainforest. For example, elephants and rhinos are found very often in most rainforests. Also, sometimes animals and plants help each other. One example of this is when some trees produce content that is highly liked by ants. The ants go to tree, and because there are so many ants on the tree, it protects the tree from predetors. It's a win-win situation. |
