Louisville utilized their size, depth, and athleticism to defeat Eastern Kentucky by a score of 87-56.  Louisville shot 48.4% from the field including 10 of 24 from the three point line.  The Cardinals connected on 17 of 21 free throws, pulled down 47 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 17 Eastern Kentucky turnovers.  Louisville held a 42-17 advantage in bench scoring.  Eastern Kentucky shot 35.6% from the field including six of 18 from beyond the arc.  The Colonels connected on eight of 15 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 16 Louisville turnovers.

Donovan Mitchell led Louisville with 15 points and seven rebounds.  Quentin Snider added 13 points including three three point baskets and six assists.  Jaylen Johnson recorded 10 points and seven rebounds.  6-1 Gr. Tony Hicks also reached double digits with 10 points.  Mangok Mathiang pulled down 13 rebounds, dished out four assists, and blocked two shots.  6-10 So. Mallie Cornett led Madison Central with 12 points on five of five from the field and two of two free throws.  Bailee Vanover also scored 12 points.  Kasi Schneid added 10 points and three steals.  Taleya Todd chipped in with nine points and Charity Mack added seven points and four assists.  5-10 Fr. Jekauri McKeithen pulled down six rebounds.

Lindsey Johns led Madison Central with 20 points including two three point baskets, five rebounds, six assists, and three steals.  Bailee Vanover added 17 points and three steals.  Mallie Cornett recorded a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds and also blocked five shots and limited Western Hills’ opportunities in the paint.  Kasi Schneid added seven points, six rebounds, eight assists, and two steals.
