Lincoln County coach Jeff Jackson started the following lineup: 6-3 Jr. Luke Hill, 5-9 Fr. Timmy Taylor, 6-4 Sr. Micah Ward, 5-7 Jr. Carl Lewis Cummins, and 5-8 Sr. Trenton Edgington. West Jessamine coach Damon Kelley countered with 6-3 Jr. Chase Fain, 6-2 So. Daulton Peters, 6-2 Jr. Robby Irgang, 6-0 So. Will Henderson, and 6-1 Sr. Jeff Ziemann.
West Jessamine led 21-8 after the first quarter in a 62-47 victory over Lincoln County. West Jessamine shot 56.4% from the field including three of 10 from the three point line. The Colts connected on 15 of 20 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 11 Lincoln County turnovers. Lincoln County shot 36.2% from the field including five of 24 from beyond the arc. The Patriots missed all six free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 16 West Jessamine turnovers.
Daulton Peters led five West Jessamine players in double figures with 12 points. Chase Fain added 11 points and 10 rebounds. 6-1 Sr. Heath Jackson also recorded 11 points. Jeff Ziemann recorded 10 points and seven rebounds and Robby Irgang also scored 10 points.
Luke Hill led Lincoln County with 20 points. Trenton Edgington added 12 points including two three point baskets. Carl Lewis Cummins also reached double figures with 10 points.
