(Note: Taylor only played 1:56 minutes before taking a hard fall driving for the basket and did not return to the game).  Lafayette coach Mike Mendenhall III countered with 6-5 Jr. Nick Trisko, 6-3 Jr. Ethan Burlingham, 6-7 So. Madison Central raced out to a 41-23 halftime lead on their way to an 81-70 victory over Lafayette.  Madison Central shot 40.3% from the field including two of 13 from the three point line.  The Indians connected on 25 of 41 free throws, pulled down 42 rebounds, and scored 29 points off 31 Lafayette turnovers.  Lafayette shot 44.6% from the field including eight of 21 from beyond the arc.  The Generals connected on 12 of 21 free throws, pulled down 44 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 11 Madison Central turnovers.

Hunter Allen led Madison Central with 20 points and 10 rebounds.  Kenjah Bosley added 19 points, five rebounds, and four steals.  John O’Bryan chipped in with 16 points.  Dominique Hawkins recorded 15 points, seven rebounds, five assists, and five steals.

Jackson Davis led Lafayette with 21 points, 11 rebounds, five assists, and three blocked shots.  Tranard Chester added 19 points including three three point baskets.

Scott County took an early lead in the first quarter but Trinity rallied to pull away for a 90-77 victory.  Trinity shot 55.6% from the field including seven of 17 from the three point line.  The Shamrocks connected on 23 of 29 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored 23 points off 19 Scott County turnovers.  Scott County shot 43.9% from the field including seven of 17 from beyond the arc.  The Cardinals connected on 20 of 28 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 24 Trinity turnovers.

Troy Saxton led Trinity with 26 points including four three point baskets.  Nathan Dieudonne added 20 points and six rebounds.  Charles Foster and Darryl Hicks added 14 and 11 points respectively.

Tamron Manning led Scott County with 26 points including three three point baskets and pulled down seven rebounds.  Isaiah Ivey and Josh Harris added 19 and 10 points respectively.

Highlands captured a 47-45 decision over Sacred Heart tonight.  Jesse Daley hit a layup with 2:08 left in the game for what proved to be the winning basket.  Sacred Heart had one last opportunity but a three point attempt at the buzzer was off target.  Highlands shot 44.2% from the field including two of six from the three point line.  The Bluebirds connected on seven of 11 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 24 points off 26 Sacred Heart turnovers.  Sacred Heart shot 37.5% from the field including six of 13 from beyond the arc.  The Valkyries connected on three of seven free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 23 Highlands turnovers.

Jesse Daley led Highlands with 12 points and nine rebounds.  Leah Schaefer added 11 points and six rebounds.  Brianna Adler chipped in with nine points.

Raven Merriweather led Sacred Heart with 11 points, five rebounds, six assists, and three steals.  5-9 Sr. Sandy Gahafer added eight points.  DaiJia Ruffin and Jade Tubb each recorded seven points and Ruffin pulled down 10 rebounds.

Mercy scored 25 points off 33 Lexington Catholic turnovers in a 61-51 victory.  Mercy led 14-9 after the first quarter and maintained a lead throughout the game to earn the victory.  Mercy shot 40.3% from the field including four of 16 from the three point line.  The Jaguars connected on seven of 16 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds and held a 36-18 advantage in points in the paint.  Lexington Catholic shot 37.2% from the field including three of 15 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Knights connected on 16 of 24 free throws, pulled down 41 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 21 Mercy turnovers.

Whitney Hartlage led Mercy with 21 points including three three point baskets.  Christine Roush added 11 points and nine steals.  5-8 Jr. Caroline Keck recorded nine points.

Alex Botkin led Lexington Catholic with 15 points, 13 rebounds, and four steals.  5-9 Fr. Rachel Blake added 13 points and six rebounds.  Bonnie Rhule chipped in with 10 points including two three point baskets.

Franklin County scored 29 points off 31 Lafayette turnovers in a 60-47 victory.  Franklin County raced out to a 15-5 first quarter lead and was never threatened the rest of the way.  Franklin County shot 35.8% from the field including one of eight from the three point line.  The Lady Flyers connected on 21 of 29 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and held an 11-2 advantage in second effort points.  Lafayette shot 43.9% from the field including seven of 17 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Generals connected on four of five free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 18 Franklin County turnovers.

Raven Timmons led Franklin County with 20 points.  Ashli Mayes added 13 points and 13 rebounds.  Lauren Taylor chipped in with nine points.

Woodford County finally pulled away from a scrappy Western Hills team in the fourth quarter to earn a 69-53 victory.  The game was close through three quarters until Woodford County made their final surge.  Woodford County shot 48.3% from the field including one of 13 from the three point line.  The Jackets connected on 12 of 19 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored 23 points off 20 Western Hills turnovers.  Western Hills shot 42.2% from the field including two of seven from beyond the arc.  The Wolverines connected on 13 of 20 free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored three points off 13 Woodford County turnovers.

Rodney Gross led Woodford County with 29 points, seven rebounds, and four steals.  Dave Greenwell added 19 points, eight rebounds, and five assists.  William Starcher recorded nine points and five steals.
