Frederick Douglass coach Shawn Ransom started the following lineup: 5-8 Jr. Aquira Gary, 5-6 Sr. Ashanti Hollingsworth, 5-9 So. Allison Wallace, 5-5 So. Bradley Price, and 5-5 So. Kennedi Edwards.  Madison Central coach Brad Lovely countered with 5-10 Jr. Raelynn Miller, 5-8 Sr. Taleya Todd, 5-11 Sr. Jekauri McKeithen, 5-4 Fr. Eve Carter, and 5-5 Jr. Brianna Bierbaum.

Madison Central defeated Frederick Douglass by a score of 49-30.  Madison Central shot 42.6% from the field including two of 13 from the three point line.  The Indians connected on seven of 17 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 18 Frederick Douglass turnovers.  Frederick Douglass shot 26.1% from the field including two of 13 from beyond the arc.  The Broncos connected on four of 13 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored six points off 18 Madison Central turnovers.

Taleya Todd led Madison Central with 23 points including six of nine free throws, four rebounds, and six steals.  Jekauri McKeithen added 14 points and 10 rebounds.  5-10 Jr. Gretchen Hammitt chipped in with four points, seven rebounds, and four blocked shots.  Eve Carter chipped in with two points, six rebounds, five assists, and two steals.

Allison Wallace led Frederick Douglass with 10 points including two three point baskets and seven rebounds.  Bradley Price added six points, two rebounds, and three assists.  Kennedi Edwards recorded five points and five rebounds and Ashanti Hollingsworth pulled down seven rebounds.
