Conner coach Aaron Stamm started the following lineup: 5-6 Sr. Joy Strange, 5-5 Sr. Savannah Jordan, 5-10 Jr. Maddie Drummonds, 5-3 Sr. Courtney Hurst, and 5-5 Sr. Maddie Burcham. Lafayette coach Allison Denton countered with 5-11 Fr. Anaya Brown, 5-10 Sr. Lindi DeBilzan, 5-10 Sr. Macey Goff, 5-7 Fr. Olivia Cathers, and 5-7 Fr. Lauren Walton.
Conner scored 30 points off 24 Lafayette turnovers, recorded 14 steals and five blocked shots in a 68-41 victory. Conner shot 40% from the field including seven of 25 from the three point line. The Lady Cougars connected on nine of 14 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and held a 14-5 advantage in bench scoring. Lafayette shot 31.8% from the field including one of eight from beyond the arc. The Lady Generals connected on 12 of 18 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 15 Conner turnovers.
Courtney Hurst led Conner with 19 points including four three point baskets. Savannah Jordan added 11 points including three three point baskets and five steals. Maddie Burcham recorded 10 points, eight rebounds, and three assists. 5-7 Jr.Tyra Murphy chipped in with 10 points and five rebounds. Joy Strange added seven points, 10 rebounds, and six assists.
Macey Goff led Lafayette with 13 points and nine rebounds. Lauren Walton added 11 points. Anaya Brown recorded six points and eight rebounds.
