Henry Clay coach Eric Sanford started the following lineup: 5-8 Jr. Christian Gatewood, 5-8 Sr. Braxton Price, 5-9 Sr. Oriona Woods, 5-4 So. Madison Cox, and 5-7 Jr. Kiya Thompson.  Lafayette coach Allison Denton countered with 5-10 Jr. Macey Goff, 5-9 Sr. Caroline Bennett, 5-9 Sr. Tekiya Garr-Carter, 5-3 Sr. Terri Abram, and 5-7 Jr. Lindi DeBilzan.

 

Lafayette defeated Henry Clay by a score of 66-54.  Lafayette shot 52.4% from the field including four of 11 from the three point line.  The Lady Generals connected on 18 of 27 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 17 Henry Clay turnovers.  Henry Clay shot 33.3% from the field including five of 19 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Blue Devils connected on 15 of 22 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 21 Lafayette turnovers.

 

Teri Abram led Lafayette with 17 points including eight of 13 free throws, five rebounds, seven assists, and two steals.  Macey Goff added 15 points and seven rebounds.  Tekiya Garr-Carter also scored 15 points, four rebounds, and three steals.  Caroline Bennett recorded 12 points including three three point baskets, and four rebounds.  Lindi DeBilzan chipped in with six points, seven rebounds, and three assists.

 

Kiya Thompson led Henry Clay with 16 points including two three point baskets.  5-9 8th Grade Amiya Jenkins added 13 points and four rebounds.
