Lexington Catholic coach Brandon Salsman started the following lineup: 6-3 Sr. TC Price, 6-1 Fr. Ben Johnson, 6-5 Sr. Zan Payne, 5-11 Jr. Javen Hardin, and 6-0 Sr. Keegan Bailey. Scott County coach Billy Hicks countered with 6-2 Sr. Cooper Robb, 6-0 Sr. Lorenzo Williams, 6-7 Jr. Michael Moreno, 5-8 Jr. Cam Fluker, and 5-11 Jr. Glenn Covington.
Scott County defeated Lexington Catholic by a score of 75-60. Scott County shot 47.3% from the field including 11 of 23 from the three point line. The Cardinals connected on 12 of 18 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 19 Lexington Catholic turnovers. Lexington Catholic shot 51.2% from the field including five of 15 from beyond the arc. The Knights connected on 11 of 15 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 12 Scott County turnovers.
Michael Moreno led Scott County with 24 points including two three point baskets, 11 rebounds, and three steals. 5-9 Jr. Diablo Stewart added 21 points including six three point baskets and five assists. Cooper Robb recorded 16 points including two three point baskets and four rebounds. Lorenzo Williams chipped in with 10 points and five rebounds.
Zan Payne led Lexington Catholic with 17 points, 11 rebounds, and three assists. Keegan Bailey added 13 points. 6-7 Sr. Max Sparkman recorded 10 points, three rebounds, and three assists.
