Week Four in Review – September 16-17, 2016

 

 

Friday September 16th

 

Bryan Station 7  Meade County 6 – Bryan Station led 7-6 when the game was suspended due to lightning and the game was re-scheduled for Saturday September 17th .  However Meade County made the decision not to return for the game.

 

Lafayette vs. Scott County – Scott County led 25-20 when the game was suspended due to lightning.  An agreement could not be made for the continuance of the game so the KHSAA will resolve the issue if an agreement is not reached.

 

Woodford County 29  Nelson County 0 – This game was called at halftime.

 

Henry Clay 7  Knox Central 7 – This game was also suspended and both teams agreed nit to re-schedule.

 

Anderson County 35  Franklin County 21Blake Franklin carried the ball 31 times for 193 yards and four touchdowns to lead Anderson County.

 

Lexington Christian Academy 51  Walton-Verona 9Drayden Burton scored on kickoff returns of 99 and 85 yards to lead LCA.

 

Madison Central 27  Lexington Catholic 14 – Madison Central was led by Jabari Huguely who carried the ball 21 times for 153 yards and one touchdown.

 

Paul Laurence Dunbar 38  Jeffersontown 0Gavin Bugg completed nine of 14 passes for 219 yards and three touchdowns.

 

Tates Creek 39  Madison Southern 14Cameron Workman completed 17 of 31 passes for 289 yards and four touchdowns.

 

Adair County 50  Russell County 27Chance Melton completed 12 of 16 passes for 153 yards and two touchdowns and carried the ball nine times for 50 yards and three touchdowns.

 

Allen County-Scottsville 54  Barren County 6- Chase Wilson completed 17 of 26 passes for 318 yards and five touchdowns.

 

Bardstown 27  Elizabethtown 13Tariq Armour carried the ball 23 times for 241 yards and four touchdowns.

 

Belfry 56  Pikeville 13Cameron Catron carried the ball five times for 210 yards and two touchdowns.

 

Boyle County 49  Collins 30Tanner Crawford carried the ball 22 times for 203 yards and three touchdowns to lead Boyle County.  JR Lucas completed 14 of 39 passes for 290 yards and four touchdowns and carried the ball 17 times for 67 yards to lead Collins.

 

Caldwell County 35  Henderson County 6Shane Burns completed 19 of 32 passes for 311 yards and three touchdowns.

 

Casey County 49  Washington County 7Collin Miller scored on pass receptions of 36, 57, and 22 yards, a six yard run, and a 68 yard interception return.

 

Bullitt East 56  Shelby County 31Hunter Perdue carried the ball 22 times for 317 yards and four touchdowns.  Christian Foster became the first female to play for the Bullitt East football team and converted on eight of eight extra points and recovered a fumble on an onside kick.

 

Corbin 20  Southwestern 8 – Corbin has only surrendered one touchdown on offense in the last three games.

 

Estill County 53  Gallatin County 23Dawson Bingham carried the ball 17 times for 250 yards and four touchdowns.

 

Garrard County 34  East Jessamine 22Jacob Foley carried the ball 27 times for 190 yards and three touchdowns.

 

Greenwood 48  Logan County 12Jackson Adams carried the ball 11 times for 160 yards and four touchdowns.

 

Holmes 32  Bellevue 7 Seth Hille carried the ball 12 times for 202 yards and three touchdowns.

 

Johnson Central 44  Harlan County 8Joe Jackson carried the ball 10 times for 184 yards and two touchdowns.

 

Kentucky Country Day 48  Bethlehem 28Jackson Diaz completed 16 of 21 passes for 274 yards and a touchdown and carried the ball eight times for 107 yards and two touchdowns.

 

Male 63  Seneca 6Tony Thomas threw for four touchdowns tonight.

 

Mayfield 42  Graves County 14Landon Arnett threw for 350 yards and five touchdowns.

 

McCreary Central 54  Berea 6Hunter Jones completed four of five passes for 77 yards and three touchdowns.

 

Newport Central Catholic 42  Harrison County 10Kyle Kelly carried the ball 21 times for 169 yards and three touchdowns.

 

Owensboro Catholic 36  Apollo 12Vonn Williams carried the ball 19 times for 161 yards and two touchdowns.

 

Paintsville 36  Williamsburg 3Darren Lewis completed seven of 11 passes for 158 yards and three touchdowns.

 

Spencer County 34  Bullitt Central 12Kadin Smith carried the ball 10 times for 157 yards and three touchdowns.

 

Trinity 29  Pleasure Ridge Park 10 Spencer Blackburn passed for 286 yards and four touchdowns.

 

Waggener 38  Atherton 0Larry Harper completed 14 of 20 passes for 213 yards and five touchdowns.

 

Wayne County 47  Mercer County 23Dalton Garner carried the ball 13 times for 131 yards and two touchdowns.
