Thursday August 25th
Covington Catholic 56 Oak Hills OH 48 – AJ Mayer completed 19 of 28 passes for 286 yards and four touchdowns to lead Covington Catholic to victory.
Friday August 26th
Ryle 34 Henry Clay 28 – Ryle raced out to a 28-0 lead and held on to earn the victory. Jacob Chisholm carried the ball 18 times for 132 yards and two touchdowns to lead Ryle. Montaveon Bean came in for Henry Clay and led the Blue Devils comeback with two touchdowns passing and one on the ground.
St. Xavier 42 Lexington Catholic 28 – Lexington Catholic raced out to a 28-0 lead but St. Xavier scored 42 unanswered points to earn the victory. Sam Taylor carried the ball 32 times for 260 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Tigers.
Danville 35 Southwestern 34 – Zach Dampier completed 24 of 32 passes for 290 yards and two touchdowns to lead Danville. Brandon Pruitt completed 15 of 23 passes for 304 yards and three touchdowns to lead Southwestern. JP Vaughn caught seven passes for 223 yards and two touchdowns.
Knox Central 46 Waggener 7 – Jermel Carton ran for 199 yards and four touchdowns to lead the victors.
Belfry 48 Tates Creek 12- The powerful Belfry running game recorded 376 yards and five touchdowns on 35 rushing attempts to roll over Tates Creek.
East Ridge 38 Phelps 18 – Brody Johnson scored five touchdowns to lead the victors.
Cooper 45 Newport Central Catholic 14 – Jarod Lonaker completed 18 of 26 passes for 343 yards and three touchdowns to lead Cooper.
Anderson County 24 George Rogers Clark 14 – Blake Franklin carried the ball 19 times for 133 yards and three touchdowns to lead Anderson County.
Bath County 40 Rowan County 14 – Landon Swartz carried the ball 13 times for 125 yards and three touchdowns and Ty Rogers recorded 114 yards and two touchdowns on 24 carries to lead Bath County.
Bowling Green 42 Christian County 22 – Clark Payne completed 20 of 27 passes for 254 yards and four touchdowns to lead Bowling Green. Jamale Carothers carried the ball 14 times for 113 yards and a touchdown and caught five passes for 124 yards and two touchdowns.
Boyd County 70 Lewis County 21 – Christian Braly carried the ball 12 times for 171 yards and three touchdowns, caught three passes for 136 yards and a touchdown, and scored on kickoff returns of 79 and 75 yards.
Campbell County 24 Highlands 21 – Nick Mayer kicked a 30 yard field goal as time expired for the win.
Christian Academy of Louisville 34 Eastern 11 – Anteneh Thompson carried the ball 16 times for 107 yards and two touchdowns to lead CAL.
Collins 55 Bullitt East 52 – JR Lucas completed 21 of 29 passes for 389 yards and six touchdowns to lead Collins. Hunter Perdue carried the ball 21 times for 269 yards and four touchdowns to lead Bullitt East.
Conner 36 Boone County 7 – Hunter Buelow completed 12 of 20 passes for 238 yards and two touchdowns to lead Conner.
East Jessamine 32 Lincoln County 27 – Aaron Fortenbury ran for 188 yards and two touchdowns to lead East Jessamine.
Estill County 48 Magoffin County 14 – Dawson Bingham carried the ball nine times for 172 yards and four touchdowns.
Hazard 41 Fairview 28 – Cory Smith carried the ball 29 times for 29 times for 232 yards and four touchdowns to lead Hazard.
Harlan County 51 Clay County 14 – Jacob Branson completed 13 of 21 passes for 308 yards and four touchdowns to lead Harlan County.
Hopkinsville 42 West Creek TN 14 – Jalen Johnson passed for 175 yards and four touchdowns.
Lexington Christian Academy 56 Kentucky Country Day 20 – Dillon Wheatley carried the ball 19 times for 92 yards and three touchdowns to lead LCA.
Madison Central 14 Paul Laurence Dunbar 12 – Zach Hardin completed 11 of 21 passes for 196 yards and a touchdown to lead Madison Central. Tre Homer caught five passes for 187 yards and a touchdown to lead Dunbar.
Male 31 Ballard 13 – Male’s defense came up big tonight as Rob Sheffield scored on a 35 yard interception and Nathan Hobbs scored on an 85 yard fumble recovery return.
McCracken County 55 Warren Central 18 – Cash Jones completed 15 of 19 passes for 180 yards and five touchdowns.
Muhlenberg County 42 Logan County 28 – Hunter Combs carried the ball 19 times for 214 yards and two touchdowns and completed seven of 10 passes for 195 yards and three touchdowns.
North Bullitt 55 Southern 7 – Conner Abnee carried the ball six times for 115 yards and three touchdowns.
Owensboro 48 Madisonville-North Hopkins 28 – Landon Board carried the ball 21 times for 198 yards and a touchdown and scored on a 93 yard kickoff return.
Owensboro Catholic 41 Daviess County 19 – Vonn Williams carried the ball 35 times for 286 yards and three touchdowns.

Raceland 20 Ashland Blazer 13 – Raceland notched their first victory over Ashland Blazer since 2008.
