Clay County coach James Burchell started the following lineup: 5-10 Sr. Sara Robinson, 5-10 So. Kelli Roberts, 6-0 Jr. Courtney Woods, 5-4 So. Kashia Jackson, and 5-5 Jr. Ajaycia Cotton.  Scott County coach Steve Helton countered with 6-0 Sr. Tereka Guyn, 5-7 So. Bailey Hawkins, 6-0 Sr. Iman Guy, 5-6 Sr. Audriana Christopher, and 5-7 Sr. Danielle DeFoor.

Scott County eked out a 67-65 victory over Clay County in a game that was tied eight times and had four lead changes.  Scott County shot 43.5% from the field including six of 18 from the three point line.  The Lady Cardinals connected on seven of 11 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 13 points off six Clay County turnovers.  Clay County shot 40.7% from the field including five of 22 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Tigers connected on 16 of 25 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 11 points off nine Scott County turnovers.

Tereka Guyn led Scott County with 16 points and eight rebounds.  Audriana Christopher added 15 points and six assists.  Bailey Hawkins also scored 15 points including three three point baskets.  Danielle DeFoor chipped in with 10 points.

Kelli Roberts led Clay County with 19 points including three three point baskets and six rebounds.  Ajaycia Cotton added 18 points including two three point baskets.  Sara Robinson chipped in with 12 points and eight rebounds.  Courtney Woods recorded eight points and 10 rebounds.
