Berea coach Jennifer Cornett started the following lineup: 5-6 Sr. Miranda Montgomery, 5-6 Sr. Chase Fain, 5-11 Jr. Victoria Sexton, 5-1 Sr. Cristina Morgan, and 5-1 Fr. Jordan Sandefur.  Sayre coach Scott Sutton countered with 5-7 Sr. Grace Rahman, 5-7 Fr. Sydney Strup, 6-3 Jr. Gabby Bowie, 5-2 So. Hannah Brady, and 5-7 Sr. Holly Manella.

Sayre led 20-13 in the third quarter but Berea rallied for a 39-35 victory.  The score was tied five times with six lead changes in the contest.  Berea shot 26.3% from the field including two of 11 from the three point line.  The Lady Pirates connected on 17 of 26 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 16 Sayre turnovers.  Sayre shot 27.7% from the field including one of six from beyond the arc.  The Lady Spartans connected on only eight of 20 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 17 Berea turnovers.

Jordan Sandefur led Berea with 11 points including nine of 12 free throws.  5-7 Fr. Conner Coyle added nine points and four rebounds.  Victoria Sexton chipped in with seven points and four rebounds.  Miranda Montgomery pulled down 10 rebounds.

Molly Manella led Sayre with 13 points, nine rebounds, and five steals.  Gabby Bowie added eight points, 10 rebounds, and three blocked shots.  Grace Rahman chipped in with seven points.
