Lafayette coach Mike Mendenhall III started the following lineup: 6-8 Jr. Nick Trisko, 6-7 Jr. Ethan Burlingham, 6-8 So. Jackson Davis, 6-0 So. Lance Blakley, and 6-3 Jr. Tranard Chester. Christian Academy of Louisville coach Casey Smallwood countered with 6-3 Jr. Chase Darst, 6-1 Jr. Logan Wade, 6-4 Sr. Tyler Stocking, 5-11 Sr. Jonathan Finch, and 5-11 Jr. Sawyer Hobbs.
Lafayette led Christian Academy of Louisville 53-42 early in the final quarter but CAL rallied to defeat Lafayette by a score of 70-66. CAL shot 45.8% from the field including six of 13 from the three point line. The Centurions connected on 20 of 31 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 18 Lafayette turnovers. Lafayette shot 46.4% from the field including four of 18 from beyond the arc. The Generals connected on 10 of 19 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 22 points off 22 CAL turnovers.
Logan Wade led CAL with 19 points including three three point baskets and four assists. Sawyer Hobbs added 15 points. Chase Darst chipped in with 12 points and five rebounds. Tyler Stocking recorded 10 points and five rebounds.
Jackson Davis led Lafayette with 13 points and three blocked shots. Tranard Chester added 11 points. Lance Blakley chipped in with eight points and eight assists.
