Lafayette coach Allison Denton started the following lineup:  6-0 So. Sarah Cooley, 5-7 Sr. Emily Justice, 6-3 Fr. Ashanti Thomas, 5-11 Fr. Dee Givens, and 5-6 So. Ken’yale Demus.  Henry Clay coach Eric Sanford countered with 5-10 Jr. MacKenzie Claus, 5-6 Fr. Jasmine Richmond, 5-11 So. Areanna Porter, 5-4 Sr. CeCi Evans, and 5-6 Fr. Destiny Carter.

Henry Clay took advantage of Lafayette’s ice cold hand from the field (16.7%) and turnovers (25) to record a 38-29 victory.  Henry Clay shot 28% from the field including two of 19 from the three point line.  The Lady Devils connected on eight of 14 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 25 Lafayette turnovers.  Lafayette shot 16.7% from the field including two of 14 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Generals connected on 13 of 19 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored six points off 17 Henry Clay turnovers.

Destiny Carter led Henry Clay with 11 points.  Jasmine Richmond added nine points and five rebounds and CeCi Evans chipped in with nine points and four steals.  Areanna Porter pulled down 12 rebounds.

Sarah Cooley led Lafayette with 10 points and 10 rebounds.  5-7 Sr. Aleisha Stiltner added nine points including seven of nine free throws.
