Grayson County coach Brad Johnson started the following lineup: 5-8 Sr. Kylee Gorby, 5-11 Sr. Kelsea Wilson, 5-11 Sr. Halee Johnson, 5-7 So. Kaylan Shull, and 5-6 Fr. Maddie Stewart. Elizabethtown coach Tim Mudd countered with 6-0 8th grader Erin Boley, 5-10 Sr. Darian Ditto, 6-1 Fr. Reaunna Cleaver, 5-7 Jr. Anna Bowling, and 5-11 Sr. Kaylyn Cecil.
Grayson County led 19-10 early in the second quarter but Elizabethtown rallied for a 59-55 victory in a hard fought contest . Elizabethtown shot 50% from the field including three of 11 from the three point line. The Lady Panthers connected on 22 of 29 free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored five points off 15 Grayson County turnovers. Grayson County shot 38.5% from the field including six of 23 from beyond the arc. The Lady cougars connected on nine of 10 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 18 Elizabethtown turnovers. Maddie Stewart and Halee Johnson both fouled out for Grayson County. The Lady Cougars attempted 18 more shots (52-34) from the field than Elizabethtown.
Kaylyn Cecil led Elizabethtown with 14 points and four steals. Erin Boley added 13 points and five rebounds. Anna Bowling chipped in with 10 points and Reaunna Cleaver recorded nine points and six rebounds.
Kaylan Shull led Grayson County with 16 points including two three point baskets and five rebounds. Kylee Gorby added 14 points including three three point baskets and seven rebounds. Kelsea Wilson recorded 12 points and nine rebounds.
