Bryan Station Mike Allen started the following lineup: 6-2 Sr. Marcus Williams, 6-2 So. Daquice Allen, 6-2 Sr. Omari Sweat, 5-11 Jr. Tyler Smith, and 6-1 Sr. Jaylen Beckham. Lexington Christian Academy coach Tommy Huston countered with 6-2 Jr. Taylor Blair, 6-1 Sr. Patrick Nickodem, 6-3 Jr. Jon Lannertone, 5-8 Jr. Tyler Harville, and 6-0 Sr. Jon Hale.
Lexington Christian Academy led 48-39 late in the third quarter and withstood a fourth quarter rally by Bryan Station to defeat the Defenders by a score of 57-56. LCA shot 42.9% from the field including seven of 15 from the three point line. The Eagles connected on 14 of 22 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored six points off 11 Bryan Station turnovers. Bryan Station shot 37.5% from the field including seven of 19 from beyond the arc. The Defenders connected on 13 of 25 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 11 LCA turnovers.
Tyler Harville led LCA with 17 points including five three point baskets. Jon Lannertone added 16 points and 10 rebounds.
Jaylen Beckham led Bryan Station with 14 points. 6-2 Jr. Kenyon Hipps added 11 points and eight rebounds. Daquice Allen also scored 11 points. Marcus Williams chipped in with nine points and five rebounds.
