Bryan Station coach Michael Allen started the following lineup:  6-3 Jr. Larry Morton, 6-2 Sr. Marcus Williams, 6-2 Jr. Kenyon Hipps, 5-6 So. Marcellus Washington, and 5-10 Jr. Tyler Smith.  Paul L. Dunbar coach Justin Yeary countered with 6-2 Jr. Jamal Adu Peasah, 6-1 Jr. William Gary, 6-6 Jr. Taylor King, 5-10 So. Connor McHugh, and 5-10 Jr. Mike Smith.

Paul L. Dunbar defeated Bryan Station 56-52 to break a 20 game losing streak against the Defenders over the last several years.  Dunbar held a 48-35 lead in the final quarter but had to hit key free throws in the final second to secure the victory.  Dunbar shot 42.1% from the field including four of 14 from the three point line.  The Bulldogs connected on 20 of 33 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 23 points off 21 Bryan Station turnovers.  Bryan Station shot 31.4% from the field including six of 26 from beyond the arc.  The Defenders connected on 14 of 26 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 21 Dunbar turnovers.

Mike Smith led Dunbar with 23 points including 13 of 14 from the free throw line.  William Gary added 18 points and 5-10 So. Donnie Lewis chipped in with nine points on three three point baskets.  Taylor King pulled down nine rebounds.

Larry Morton led Bryan Station with 16 points and 12 rebounds.  Marcus Williams added 16 points and noine rebounds.  Marcellus Washington chipped in with 11 points including three three point baskets.
