Danville coach Andrew Zaheri started the following lineup: 6-1 Sr. Rob Caudill, 6-4 Jr. Devonte Alcorn, 6-4 Jr. Damir Karapandzic, 5-10 Sr. Leroy Hawkins, and 5-9 Sr. Tryston Ford. West Jessamine coach Damon Kelley countered with 6-3 Jr. Chase Fain, 6-2 Jr. Robby Irgang, 6-2 So. Daulton Peters, 6-0 So. Will Henderson, and 6-1 Sr. Jeff Ziemann.
West Jessamine shot a blistering 72.7% from the field in the first half as the Colts raced to a 45-22 halftime lead on their way to a 73-56 victory over Danville. West Jessamine shot 55.3% from the field including nine of 15 from the three point line. The Colts connected on 12 of 24 from the free throw line, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 14 Danville turnovers. Danville shot 34.5% from the field including seven of 26 from beyond the arc. The Admirals connected on nine of 15 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 14 West Jessamine turnovers.
Chase Fain led West Jessamine with 26 points including five three point baskets and pulled down nine rebounds. Fain was 10 of 11 from the field including five of six from beyond the arc and one of two from the free throw line. Daulton Peters and Will Henderson added 15 and 12 points respectively.
Tryston Ford led Danville with 16 points. Rob Caudill added 13 points.
