UHA coach Randy McCoy started the following lineup: 6-2 Sr. Jordan Davie, 6-2 So. Lamontas Johnson, 6-1 Sr. David Vance, 5-8 So. Dashjon Brown, and 6-0 Sr. Kquan McNease. Lexington Catholic coach Brandon Salsman countered with 6-5 Sr. Craig Floyd, 6-6 Sr. Patrick Keller, 6-8 Jr. Jack Whitman, 5-10 Jr. Dillon Avare, and 5-10 Sr. Bryan Woomer.
Lexington Catholic finally pulled away late in the third quarter to earn a 70-57 victory over UHA. Lexington Catholic shot 46% from the field including six of 19 from the three point line. The Knights connected on 18 of 21 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 23 points off 21 UHA turnovers. UHA shot 41.5% from the field including seven of 20 from beyond the arc. The Blazers connected on six of 11 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 18 Lexington Catholic turnovers.
Jack Whitman led Lexington Catholic with 23 points, seven rebounds, and three blocked shots. Bryan Woomer added 14 points and nine assists. 5-10 Sr. Rashad Bennett recorded 10 points.
Dashjon Brown led UHA with 14 points. 5-8 Sr. Jake Hopper added 12 points including three three point baskets. Jordan Davie recorded eight points and eight rebounds.
