Lexington KY February 18th - Bryan Station raced out to a 18-6 first quarter lead on their way to a 73-58 victory over Paul Dunbar.
Bryan Station shot 45.9% from the field including five of 12 from the three point line. The Defenders connected on 12 of 19 free throws, pulled down 41 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 17 Dunbar turnovers. Dunbar shot 37% from the field including four of 17 from beyond the arc. The Bulldogs connected on 14 of 27 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored eight points off 16 Bryan Station turnovers.
6-2 Sr. Charles Ashford led Bryan Station with 23 points, 11 rebounds, and five assists. 6-2 Sr. Cameron Richardson added 14 points including two three point baskets. 5-10 Sr. Montell Morones chipped in with 10 points. 6-3 Sr. Jeremiah Mabson recorded four points and 11 rebounds.
5-11 Sr. Nick Hudson led Dunbar with 23 points including three three point baskets. 6-2 8th grader Larry Morton added 12 points and six rebounds. 6-2 So. Lamont Johnson chipped in with 10 points. 6-8 Sr. Tyler Rogers recorded six points, 13 rebounds, and three blocked shots.
