This is a copy of Samuel Eaves' graves registration.  There are several errors in this document.  The first error is in the unit.  Sam was a member of the 5th Mississippi Infantry, and the 11th Mississippi Cavalry at different times.  He was never a member of the 5th Mississippi Cavalry.  Additionally it indicates that he was buried in Ellison Ridge Cemetery.  Sam is actually buried in the Eaves Cemetery that lies approximately 800 yards east of Ellison Ridge Cemetery.
