Serrapeptase is a proteolytic enzyme isolated from the micro-organism Serratia E15. Histological studies reveal powerful anti-inflammatory effects of this naturally occurring enzyme.

The late German physician, Dr. Hans Nieper, used Serrapeptase to treat arterial blockage in his coronary patients.
