This series starts out with Dr. Geroand Dr. Myuu making a new android named Android Artificial 17. They make a portal to the living dimension. Artificial 17 tries to find 17 inorder to fuse. He does and they become Super 17. Meanwhile, in Hell, Cell and Freeza plan to take over Hell, so Goku tries to stop that from happening. Unknown to Goku, this was set up so the other fighters couldn’t beat Super 17. During the battle Dr. Gero is betrayed byDr. Myuu. Dr. Myuu later gets and also gets killed. It also seems that Kurirn and 18 have been killed though. Nappa also escapes hell but Vegeta kills him again. Goku Defeats Cell and Freeza but is stuck in hell, so Piccolo reeks havoc in Heaven. Dende and Piccolo do a old Namek trick and make a portal to get Goku back. He then kills Super 17. The dragonballs were gathered but when Shenlong was summoned he was not the same. We find out that the dragonballs were cracked by negative wishes being made over the years. Goku and Pan go try and defeat these evil dragons.Ryan-Shenlong is that first and tells them he was created when Bora was wished life. It is the dragonb of the 2 stared ball, and its element is polluted water. He is tricked into going in clean water, this weakens him. He is then defeated.
Ryuu-Shenlong is the next dragon, and was from the 6 stared ball. He was born when Oolong made a wish for a pair of underwear. This dragon’s element was hurricanes. Goku defeated him though a weakness on Ryuu’s head.
Chii-Shenlong of the 7 stared ball is next. He was born when they wished everyone back after Majin- Vegeta killed them. Pan gets trapped in its body, but Goku saved her wile destroying Chii.
Suu-Shenlong is next for Goku and Pan to encounter. It was born when Piccolo was wished back to life. This dragon of the sun is associated with the 4 star dragonball. Goku and Suu fight, telll San-Shenlong, of the 3 stared ball shows up. Suu mocks San after interfering with the match, and tell him that he lost his honor. The dragon of ice, San, fights Goku anyway. It is slayed in battle, and Goku and Suu-Shenlong continue.
Another interference occurs, by Ii-Shenlong, of the 1 star dragonball. Goku defeats it in Super Goku 4 stage, but the dragon survived. It defeats Pan and steals all the restored dragonballs. Ii-Shenlong fuses with the balls and powers up. Super Goku 4 is no match for it anymore. So Bulma created a brute ray that allowed Vegeta to go Super level 4, and Vegeta helps Goku. The two are still no match for Ii-Shenlong. Another strategy is used. Goku and Vegeta fuse into Gogeta SSJ4. Ii-Shenlong is kicked around and the dragonballs it fused with are restored, but the fusion of Super Gogeta 4 wears off before Ii-Shenlong is killed. Ii-Shenlong fuses with the dragonballs once again, but Goku gets to the 4 star dragonball before Ii-Shenlong can and swallows it so that the dragon can't fuse with it. Eventually, Goku spits the dragonballs back out and Ii-Shenlong absorbs it. Vegeta asked if the might try fusion. Goku was to weak and they can’t fuse because of size difference.
One last chance of hope remains. Goku begins to create a Genki-Dama. Everyone on Earth raises their hands to give energy to Goku. Goku teleports to Kaio and asks that the energy is not enough. The Kaios agree to help seek life forms across the galaxy to help donate energy to Goku. All the characters encountered in space in the Baby Series are shown again and they raise their hands. Goku Creates a giant Genki-Dama. It finally kills Ii Shenlong. All the dragonballs are restored to normal, but something is wrong. Shenlong appears without being summoned and tells that he will not make any more wishes because of all the trouble the dragonballs have caused. Goku convinces it to make the final wish of restoring all the civilians killed during the fights against the dragons. The wish is granted, and Goku is told to ride on Shenlong's back. Goku does so. Chi-Chi and her sons go home to prepare a big feast while awaiting Goku's return, unaware what's going on. Pan notices Goku's tattered clothes on the ground and asks if her granpa is gone for good. Vegeta says yes. On Shenlong’s back Gokuu visites the Z warriors. After that he lays down and fuses with the dragonballs. He disappears.
