"SUMMER LOVE"

Summer nights, Summer breezes
The holding of hands
The passing of time

From a distance, Bright lights become a beacon
With a smile and gleeful giggle
They begin to run

Come one and all, Welcome to the fun!
Digging deep, Required change passes from young hand to old
As she holds his arm, Adoring eyes meet his
They move amongst the crowds
The smell of cotton candy greets them
Children run here and there with squeals of excitement
They both remember their childhood days at the sight

Their path comes upon the tunnel of love
No questions are asked as they take their seat
Darkness engulfs them as he steals a kiss
She whispers the words he loves to hear
As her head finds its place upon the tanned shoulder
Dreams begin in the most unlikely places
Eyes of blue see only you
As the finger traces the cheek and ear
Do you know of my love?
Can you feel the beating of my heart?
As the ride ends quickly, They make their way onward

Crossing the grounds the carousel music warms them
Old man smiles as the ticket is torn in half
Horses are chosen as the ride begins to move
Up and down, Round and round
Such a grand ride it is with the perfect partner
Both have found their's, This very night

Expressions of love come easy
As they begin this ride for eternity
Hands join as hearts bond
Gift from above
This summer love.
