Background: Protege of the legendary Shawn Michaels, in May of 2000, the arrogant wrestler known worldwide as the "Champion of Champions" settled down to form the NFWA. Started out as the fair, fan friendly Prez Panther but was soon corrupted by his ego. Used to "He is Coming" scam to form the powerful Dynasty with DX 2000, Sniper, Trish Stratus and Crazy Lou, which lasted from the 1st NFWA PPV Maximum Carnage to Overkill, where Panther lost the Ownership of the fed to Firestorm. After regaining control (in controversial fashion) at SlamFest, Panther was more ruthless than ever. Along with a new and improved Dynasty, Panther wreaked havoc on the wrestling world, practically crippling the upstart Generation NeXt League and blatantly screwing Lightning out of the World Title at On Deadly Ground. In late 2001, Panther began a bit of a transformation, partially due to his involvement with former nemesis Diamond. The two fell in love, and were married in early 2002.
